The best opportunity to get a job as a pilot is at flight schools which are connected to an airline, although mostly no job guarantees are provided. The large airlines in Europe often have a waiting list of pilots from their own affiliated schools. Most airlines have 1 or 2 flight schools as their preferred supplier mainly due to experience with the quality of the graduates. The selection process of the flight school is very important for airlines as they can rely on the quality of the graduated pilots and as a consequence generally don’t hire pilots with a different background.
It is very important to investigate which schools are affiliated to airlines as they are the only ones providing the best opportunity of finding a job after graduation, therefore reducing the risk of having to bear a financial problem.
