Charter & scheduled flights

The charter airlines mainly fly to holiday destinations. This means not only islands and other exotic places. Often these are also difficult to reach, poorly equipped airports with medium air traffic control. The busiest period is when others are on holiday. This means that the possibilities for self-traveling during this period are usually limited. Under certain conditions, it is difficult to combine family life. In winter, the pilot has more free time. However, this can lead to financial constraints depending on the payment model.

For scheduled line flights, the destinations focus on economic centres and major cities. This generally means busy but mostly well-equipped airports, a crowded airspace, long waiting times, a good infrastructure at the overnight location. The distribution of work varies less per season. It can provide a relatively more stable roster schedule.
